The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitition protects those accused of crimes from "illegal searches and seizures."  This language is supposed to protect the accused from government misconduct, such as when police tamper with or plant evidence, search your home without a warrant, obtain a confession improperly, or otherwise violate your rights.

For years we have helped our clients successfully challenge evidence that the government has improperly obtained.  Sometimes this has resulted in having the evidence thrown out, and sometimes the government has decided to charge less serious charges.
